Continuing our focus on addressing facility workflow requirements, Rascular will be showcasing several new products and releases at IBC 2008, including Helm 3.0, Helm Server, and Timebase 3.0.

Helm 3.0 adds support for the following new devices:

• Omneon Spectrum and MediaDeck systems with clip selection and playout
• Axon Synapse range, including control and monitoring of the HLI SD/HD logo inserters
• Lynx 5000 modular system control
• Miranda Kaleido X multi-viewer control, including room and router control
• Harris IconStation branding engine with salvos and text updates
  
• Miranda Imagestore 750 control of four keyers in SD and HD
  

Helm Server extends the existing Helm control system, providing centralized services for Helm clients. V1.0 is focused on the following areas:

• Centralised device management
• Distributed router control
• Centralised script management

Timebase 3.0

• Harris IconStation support for now/next graphics
• ODBC Lookup option allows program metadata to be retrieved from an external database for delivery to Imagestore and Iconstations.
