Rascular extends HELM with Server Control

At IBC 2007, Rascular will be demonstrating the latest version of HELM, the virtual control panel design system. This version adds control of video servers and VTRs to HELM's already comprehensive list of controllable equipment.

As well as "baseband" support via RS-422 for VDCP-compatible servers and Sony 9-pin VTRs, HELM supports VDCP over TCP/IP, and direct API-level control of Omneon Spectrum and Mediadeck systems.

These new capabilities can be integrated into existing HELM control panels, for emergency clip playout, manual intervention panels, clip carousels and many other broadcast applications.
